Kirris Riviere movie list

I'll sleep when I'm dead' was Kirris's first professional job as an actor, the character he played was 'Big John' featuring alongside Clive Owen as one of his main men. This was a prominent role. The feedback from the Director Mike Hodges was that 'Kirris was a joy to work with, Leo Davies was the casting director and since then they have been in contact with each other. Kirris started acting in a school production when he was fourteen never really taking it seriously at that time during rehearsals, he would often be late or not turn up but his acting teacher was patient, firm but fair saying, the only person that'll look silly on that stage is you if you don't put the effort in, so he learned the hard way, when he finally realized he only had a couple of days left to actually learn his freaking lines but he did it, and that's where that feeling on that stage in his first performance came from, that buzz and connection to the audience started right there. Then drama school was Kirris's next goal and coming from Bristol at the time it had to be The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School Kirris was beside himself when he got in but it wasn't easy. So taking Kirris's life journey back a bit from secondary school (Ashton Park School) he then went to college (Filton college) where his passion for acting and singing really started to take hold, at the same time he became a member of the Bristol Youth Theatre Studio where he learned a lot about himself and basic theory. Drama school was hard he says, it felt like being dissected piece by piece whilst still alive, the rebuilding stage took a while to be fully completed, as that process was happening lots of knowledge questioning and confidence also formed Kirris's foundations. After drama school various parts came to him like The R.S.C 'Comedy of errors' Kirris was then cast in the TV Series 'Above Suspicion' as a Lawyer then TV series Casualty. In Mount Pleasant the character he played was the love interest alongside Paula Wilcox in two episodes. Following on from that he then went on to do a few voice over sessions for various characters in the series. TV series 'Nylon' as a regular character his next role was in the film 'Double Time' staring James Dreyfus It hasn't always been easy for Kirris and questioning himself as to why he is in this crazy industry when long periods of not working is part of his and everyone else's journey as a performer sometimes flickers briefly through his mind. Kirris has also performed in Welcome 2 Karachi Bollywood film, orange tree theatre in a play called Playmas directed by the lovely Paulette Randall. His recent work has been starring in various shows with Show of Strength Theatre Company as well as acting in the Television sitcom "I Live With Models" which will be out on comedy central later in 2016.
