Jake Ryan Scott is an actor and producer, best known for "American Horror Story" (2011), 'Children of the Corn: Runaway" (2018) and "Pale Door" (2019).
Born February 18, 2002 in McKinney, Texas, Jake has attended Prosper High School, McKinney North High School, and the Ovation Academy of Performing Arts. Graduating a year early in 2019, Jake Ryan was accepted to the Studio School of Los Angeles, California at the age of 17 on a talent scholarship.
At the age of 6, Jake Ryan told his parents he wanted to be an actor after seeing a local rendition of "A Christmas Carol". With aspirations of being "Tiny Tim," his acting dreams soon became a reality as he was cast as "Tiny Tim" in the play the following year at age 7. That same year he then became a founding member of the Young Actors Guild in McKinney and has been actively involved with the group ever since serving as an actor and youth board member. He has performed in over 20 plays with the organization specializing in Shakespeare.
At the age of 10 he began taking TV/Film acting classes in Dallas. Shortly afterwards he was signed by the Osbrink Agency in Los Angeles and Campbell Agency in Dallas. During his stay in Los Angeles for Pilot Season he was cast in American Horror Story and in several toy commercials.
Back in Dallas his talents rapidly began to shine through, and he was cast in his first Dallas film, a short called "Papa Bear," and it proved that Jake had what it took to succeed. The film later won an award at the Tyler (Texas) Film Festival. Since the age of 10 he has been actively pursuing his acting.
Now, in his late teens, Jake has performed in numerous plays and appeared in popular TV shows, commercials, stand-up comedy, voice over, and feature films including: Popular TV show "American Horror Story," TV Movie "Snow Bride," movies "Warning Label," "Movie Guys," "Bunnyman Vengeance," "Children of the Corn: Runaway" and "The Pale Door." He is currently the voice over for Dave & Buster commercials.
