He graduated with a B.E degree from Madras University in Chennai, following which he is parallelly working in Software & Cinema Industry . His movies Paalai and Moondraam ullaga por gained him critically acclaimed actor status in the Tamil movie Industry. Sunil Kumar made his Hollywood debut as part of the critically and commercially acclaimed "Mr.Misunderstanding", movie directed by Muralidharan Chinniah which was released globally in leading OTT platforms ( Amazon Prime, Itunes, Vimeo on Demand etc.)
