Alex wrote and directed the critically acclaimed thriller documentary Last Breath (Netflix/BBC). Over his 20 year career, Alex has also directed documentaries for a number of global broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, National Geographic, Animal Planet, History and Travel. His latest feature documentary, Lucy The Human Chimp (HBO Max & Channel 4), is about the profound story of Janis Carter, who took on the seemingly impossible task of giving a chimpanzee raised as a human a new life in the wild. Alex has his first scripted feature in development.
