Jaime Chew is an actress known for Marco Polo (2014) playing the recurring role of Princess Ling Ling (Season 2).
Jaime was featured on the cover of Harpers Bazaar (Kids) in 2011, and has since appeared in Print Ads, TV Commercials, Voice Overs (Mandarin and English), and Short Films in Singapore. She hosted a regular TV segment in 2016 as part of a live comedy panel OK Chope! (2016) as a Kid Reporter interviewing celebrities, high profile personalities and reporting on stories of local interest.
In 2014, she performed as Gretl in "The Sound of Music" (International Touring Cast) during their Singapore season at Marina Bay Sands. She also had roles with the touring Broadway Cast of "Shrek The Musical" (2016) and "Annie" (2016) during their Singapore seasons at Marina Bay Sands.
Jaime appeared in several episodes of the local TV (MediaCorp) Chinese Drama, TruthSeekers 2 and The Dream Makers (2013) in 2016, and made a cameo appearance in Royston Tan's Mandarin film 3688 (2015).
She played the role of Ashley in 2018, as part of the main cast for Whoopie's World (2017) Season 2, a popular school-age drama based on a book by Singaporean author Adeline Foo. She also played the role of Ada Lovelace in Avenue 14, on Mediacorp Ch5 in 2019.
The Short Film Let Me Kill My Mother First (2018) about a troubled teen (Jaime) and her relationship with her mother (Yeo Yann Yann), was featured and premiered at the Singapore International Film Festival 2018.
In 2019, she played the lead role of Mallory, an aspiring teen detective in the Teen/Kids Drama series "Snoops" on local TV MediaCorp Ch5.
She was part of the lead cast, playing Rebecca Lim in a Teen/Child comedy-drama (in Mandarin) "The Diary of Amos Lee". The show was released on local TV MediaCorp Ch8 in January 2020.
Jaime was regularly featured as a "Hack Test Dummy 2" in Scoop! (2020), an award-winning light current affairs programme released on MediaCorp in 2021
Jaime was born in Singapore and speaks both Mandarin and English. She also plays piano, cello, sings, dances, and enjoys ice-skating and skiing.
